Eden's Semilla Jojoba Oil*

August 10, 2016

Hello lovelies,

So this week Eden's Semilla were kind enough to let me try and review this fantastic product. Before I go into detail about the product let me tell you a bit about their company. They were founded in the US in 2015 (so are still fairly new) and they sell oils and serums to a worldwide market. Eden's Semilla is Spanish for Eden's Seed because a large part of their market was Spanish and their original product (Rosehip Oil - Which by the way is 100% natural) was sourced from Latin America. Anyway, the company have since expanded to Canada and Europe selling facial serums and this lovely product -  Jojoba Oil.

Jojoba Oil is 100% natural and can be used to moisturise skin, hair and even your nails. The product is cold pressed and unrefined. Eden's Semilla reccomend that you apply 2-3 drops to your face (or any patch of skin) and gently massage it in. As for you hair and nails - You can just use it as much as you require. Jojoba Oil is packed with vitamins and fatty acids which are essential for skin defence so this product really couldn't sounds any better on paper. I ordered from Amazon and after a week's worth of testing here is what I found:

Packaging/Bottle - So the first thing we see is the packaging. The oil is inside a nice strong 60ml bottle which has a child proof lock on (so childproof I struggled myself) and is packaged in a lovely looking box. The box is simple but it has all the instructions and information you would need on there. Inside the box there is the bottle of Jojoba Oil and a dropper giving you the choice of what lid you use, I personally use the dropper and have got rid of the plain black lid.

Product - So I must admit I haven't tried this product on my hair yet since my hair is far too long and I really want to save some product to use on my skin. However, I have used it on my face and nails and I have nothing but positive comments for this oil. The first thing I did when I opened it was smell it. The oil is 100% natural so it's not heavily perfumes however it's not completely scentless. It's pleasant smelling and no overpowering.

I used the product every night after I had taken my makeup off and cleansed my skin. I needed to use a total of 4 drops for an even coverage on my face and neck and I simply put it straight onto clean hands and massaged it into my skin in circular motions. One thing I love is that the oil isn't greasy because that was what I was expecting but it lived up to what it says on the box, it's not greasy and it absorbs into the skin really quickly. So if you want to use this product in the morning you could leave it for 10-15 minutes and then apply your make-up if you wanted too.

I have the 60ml bottle and I can safely say this product will last forever. I have very spot prone skin and since using this product I've noticed I don't get as many blemishes. This could be partly to do with the fact that Jojoba Oil has anti-bacterial properties. I've also noticed that my dark under eye circles have faded slightly since using the oil which has really surprised me and I hope the oil continues to make them fade.

Would I but this item again? - Without a doubt, yes. I've been converted! I would highly recommend it to people.
