L'oreal pure clay purity mask

September 23, 2016

Hello lovelies,

Another product which I have been wanting to review for a while is one of L'oreal's face masks. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the detoxifying one which I originally wanted but I did manage to get my hands on the purifying one which would have been my second choice. So once I have ran out of this expect another on the detoxifying mask!

So here we have the Pure Clay mask. Let me tell you a little bit about it first! This mask contains 3 pure clays and eucalyptus and deeply purifies and mattifies skin. It has a creamy texture which works deep into the pores of your skin and it is supposed to leave your face feeling purified and matte-looking (without drying it out).

It contains Koalin which is a highly effective natural clay which absorbs impurities and excess sebum. The second clay is Montmorillonite which is rich in minerals and helps to eliminate imperfections, Lastly is Ghassoul which has lots of minerals and is known to clarify complexion.

So, here's how you use it:

Of course I had to include an embarrassing picture of myself with the mask on because how could I not? So it's really simple: Cleanse your skin with your usual cleanser, apply a thin layer of the clay mask onto you face (avoiding the eyes and lips), leave it to dry for 5-10 mins, remove it with a wet towel and warm water. It really couldn't be more simple! They recommend you do that 2-3 times a week.

I really liked the mask, it doesn't smell terrible and I love it when they harden it feels like you've had botox! It came off really easy with a cloth and warm water and afterwards my skin was less oily and felt super soft. L'oreal claim that after a week your skin will look mattified, cleaner and softer. If you continue to use it after a week then your skin will be able to breathe and be visibly transformed.

All in all I loved this purchase, I can't wait to use it next and after a couple of week I will fill you all in on whether it still works,
