Cleaning your brushes with Real Techniques

January 04, 2017

Hello lovelies,

I'm going to show you how I clean my brushes using some goodies that Santa brought me. Real Techniques by Sam & Nic is a brand of make-up brushes which as incredibly popular in the blogging community because they are amazing products. I'm going to show you how I clean my brushes using their brush cleansing gel and palette. It's really effective and easy with only 3 steps to gorgeous brushes!

Step 1
Slip your hand into the handle which is attached to the back on the Real Techniques brush cleansing palette and squeeze a pea sized amount of the cleansing gel onto the palette along with warm water.

Step 2
Using circular motions swirl the brush into the gel and water using the various textured surfaces until your brush is clean. You may want to rinse the bristles a couple of times in between swirls to ensure the brush is actually clean. TIP: Do not let water get into the base of the bristles as this is where the bristles are bound and held in place, water could cause the bristles to fall out.

Step 3
Squeeze out excess water and leave the brush to air dry upside down. TIP: Rather than using tissue paper you could prop the palette up and use it to lie your brushes on it is big enough to hold a couple.

It really is as simple as that... The gel leaves your brushes smelling and looking gorgeous. Links for all the products in this post can be found below. Thank you for reading, comment below if you have tried these products.
