Real Techniques - Multitask set!

January 30, 2017

Hello lovelies,

This weekend I expanded my make-up brush collection with this gorgeous Limited Edition Multitask set. This set includes 3 brushes and a cute little carry case to store them in and costs only £14.99 from boots. But, if you're lucky like me you may catch them when they're on sale so I got it for around £12. Let's have a closer look at what is in the set:

Pictures above are the three brushes included in this set. From top to bottom this is what it includes:

- Multitask face brush: This brush has an angled cut and  can be used to apply setting powder, bronzer and is perfect for contouring. This brush, like the rest is super soft to touch so it feels amazing when applying powder.
- Multitask cheek brush: This brush has an 'extreme tapered cut' and can be used to apply colour to the apple of the cheeks, highlight the cheekbone and of course it can also be used for contouring.
- Multitask eye brush: This brush has a tapered cut to apply shadow to the eye crease, highlight the brow bone or softly smudge along the lash line.

As you can see these brushes can be used for a wide range of things, hence the name 'multitask set' so I couldn't not pick up this set.

Pictured above is the dual carry case that comes with this set. There is a different design in each set but this one just happens to be a brightly coloured geometric type design which I think looks lovely. This carry case can be used to keep your brushes safe on the go OR if you pull the cord (hidden on the inside) it can be used to stand your brushes up like this:

I don't know about you but I find this case pretty impressive. A little tip for you all is to try  putting your brushes in upside down in the case to let them dry after washing. It stops water sinking down into the bristles where they are bound together because this is when you start to lose bristles.

My thoughts? I think for the price I paid this set is well worth the money. The brushes feel amazingly soft to the touch and they can be used for so wide range of different tasks so it's hard not to be happy with this buy. I would 100% recommend this set to anyone.

  6. I love these brushes! And I have the exact same ones and it kind of irks me because they cost so much more in my country! I had to pay around 30 euros for them!

    1. I'm glad you like it too, I love the little case I don't have many, I don't think I would want anymore though they would just start to clutter the place up.

  11. I personally do not own any Real Techniques brushes, actually I don't own much brushes at all... I don't know, I just can't spend my money 15€ on a small brush when I could get a drugstore foundation or whatever else for that money. But I do know that I need to change that habit because good brushes do make a difference when applying a makeup!

    1. I was the exact same, if you go to MAC you could spend £25 on one brush alone, so that's why I prefer this brand. You can get 3 brushes and a case for less than £25.

  15. I am actually not the biggest fan of real techniques, even though I do have a few of them on hand. I see why people like them though, but I just have favourites which I stick too.
Although I must say I like that pouch.
