Rimmel Brow Shake Filling Powder

June 15, 2017

Hello lovelies,

You may have come across these before, they are quite popular amongst the blogging community at the moment and I've finally got a chance to try it out. My Benefit Gimme Brow is running out and I wanted to step up my 'game' and make more of an effort with my eyebrows so I decided to give this product a go.

So I bought this from Superdrug for just £5.99 which is very affordable. This product comes in 4 shades: Blonde 001, Medium Brown 002, Dark Brown 003 and Soft Black 004. I bought shade 001 as I'm very pale and of course - Blonde! Below is a swatch of the eyebrow powder, not the best but you can see how it goes on.

It is a powder, can be build up to be a bit darker or if you want it to be thin you can use a brow brush just to thin it out a bit. It's a very thin applicator brush, flexible so you can shape your brows just as you would like. This is very long lasting, I put it on in the morning to go to work and at the end of a 12.5 hour shift it was still there, not quite as dark as when I put it on, but still a faint trace!

This is a great product for those who are starting to do stuff with their brows - like me! It comes off really easy with make-up remover (or micellar water) so if you make a mistake don't panic just get a q-tip and remove it. Perfect for those just getting to know their brows!

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to take a picture with the powder on, but it definitely helps to shape your brows and fill in sparse eyebrows like mine which you can hardly tell is there!

If you like the sound of this product click the link below to purchase it. Love, Lauren x

  8. Similar to you, I love the benefit brow products but being quite pricey I'm definitely up for trying something cheaper - will have to give this a whirl!
