T-Zone Brand Review*

August 16, 2017

Hello lovelies,

Earlier this week I received a little goody box with a few T-Zone products in to try. T-Zone are a brand whose mission is to "deliver the natural alternative for a clearer and spot-free complexion" and you can now buy their products at most Superdrug shops in the UK. They have a range of products including: Black Peel Off Mask, Black Cleansing Wipes, Nose Pore Strips, Deep Cleansing Face Scrub, Ultra Purifying Face Wash, Self-Heating Mask and No-Shine Papers.  Their products retail at around £2.99-£5.99.

A lot of their products include ultra-purifying and naturally anti-bacterial ingredients such as: activated charcoal to absorb impurities and excess oil; bamboo extract to control oil and leave skin looking matte and grapefruit extract to refresh and purify skin. All in all this brand sounds fabulous, I love the packaging and overall look of the products and I love the price tag that comes with them. So, what was I sent in my little goody bag?

Deep Cleansing Face Scrub 150ml*
This Charcoal & Bamboo Deep Cleansing Face Scrub claims to deeply cleanse pores from impurities, leaving clearer looking skin. It contains bamboo particles, activated charcoal and grapefruit extract to remove dead skin cells and leave skin looking clear and healthy. The Scrub is grey with black particles. To use, simply wet your face with warm water, apply a small amount of the scrub and then gently massage over your face. Then, simple rinse with warm water and pat your face dry.

A little tip: Focus on your T-Zone area or spots where your skin is most oily. I've been using this every other day, after using this my skin feels super soft and smooth. The scrub smells lovely, not a very strong scent but it's not unpleasant! I could imagine that using this along with their Facial Wash would work wonders on your skin! This product only costs £2.99 from Superdrug, bargain, right?

Black Peel Off Mask 60ml*
This product is by far my favourite from the goody bag. This is T-Zone's Charcoal & Bamboo Black Peel Of Mask which draws out impurities and peels away black heads to keep your skin clean. I've been wanting to try one of these masks for a while but I haven't been able to find on in stores so when I opened this up I was very happy! I couldn't wait to try it.

To use, cleanse your face or use a hot towel for 3-5 minutes to open up your pores. Pat your face dry and apply a medium, even layer of the face mask (which is black) to areas prone to impurities or blackheads such as your nose, chin and forehead. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes or until completely dry and then you can peel it off and watch the impurities come off with it! It does warn that it may cause temporary redness but it didn't do this for me... It cleared my pores and came off so much easier than I thought it would do! This is a firm favourite for £4.99.

No-Shine Papers*
There are 50 sheets inside a pack and the aim is to help blot excess oil and leave your skin shine-free and healthy-looking. The best thing? They have been specifically designed not to disturb make-up! I've always been a bit confused as to why people would use products like this, but since they came in the goody bag I thought hey, let's give them a go! I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Below is a picture of what the sheet looked like before and after I blotted my face (make-up free).

I'm pretty impressed that all of that oil came from my face which I had cleaned only a few hours before. I can't imagine how much the sheets would pick up after applying my make-up and going about my day at work. These sheets cost £2.99 for 50 sheets, bargain alert! T-Zone recommends using these sheets before and after applying make-up in order to eliminate shine. These will definitely become a part of my make-up routine from now on!
