Viktor & Rolf Bonbon

August 12, 2017

Hello lovelies,

I never usually review perfumes because I struggle with wording, it's not easy to write about a fragrance, you need to be able to smell it! But I thought I would make an exception with this perfume as it is my new firm favourite. My parent's recently got back from Greece where they bought me Viktor & Rolf's Bonbon in duty free. The pricer varies depending on the size of the bottle and the store but it tend to retail anywhere between £48-73 and it's the third perfume I own as I am very picky when it comes to fragrances!

The packaging and the bottle are both gorgeous. I always like to have good smelling perfumes in pretty bottles. The bottle is designed to look like a pink/purple bow with a black Viktor & Rolf logo attached to the centre. It's a very pretty design and fits perfectly with my other pretty bottles. But enough about the bottle, what about the scent? Viktor & Rolf describe the scent: "Bonbon is delicious. Created with the intent to fuel desire through a scent so irresistible that one would deem edible. Caramel characterizes the scent's evolution. From inception to completion, the caramel notes mature from a sharp, edible top note to a softer and milkier middle then darkening to add depth to the base note".

With caramel being the inspiration for this perfume how can it not smell gorgeous? I don't like perfumes which are too overpowering and this perfume is exactly what I like. It's fragrant, but not overbearing and quite long lasting. It's enough to make any woman feel empowered, beautiful and complete! It's been added to my list of favourite perfumes and joins Marc Jacob's Daisy and Decadence!

  1. The bottle is so pretty, and I like sweet smells so this sounds really nice! I'm a big fan of Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb, so I'll have to give this one a smell when I come across it next.
